Does iTunes mess up FCSB (Five column springboard)

Basically I'm worried that syncing with itunes is going to mess up my fifth column and arrangement. Just wondering what other people's experiences are?

FCSB should disable the iTunes icon arrangement. The apps can still be seen and reorganized but they changes don't appear on the iDevice.

just organize your icons on the phone...the itunes representation will be wrong (so ignore it)..
