Does Lion come with a version of FaceTime built in?

    That's why I never bought it. Didn't use it enough to spend a dollar when I figured it would be in Lion

    My brand new MBP 17" comes with Mac OS X 10.6.7 (grey, machine specific disc) and at least this version of Mac OS X includes FaceTime (HD). So i think Lion will come with FaceTime (HD), which runs only on supported Macs.

    FaceTime is included in the developer preview's of Lion, but that doesn't mean it will be included in the final release. Apple may just want devs to test it out on Lion.

    No, FaceTime is definitely coming in Lion. Apple even list it as a featured app: http://www.apple.com/macosx/apps/
