Does Lion fix the problems with 10.6.8?

Specifically, I've been having troubles with Disk utility not able to correct errors from boot CD.

Secondly, the power management puts the system to sleep when I set it to 'never' when plugged in(macbook pro 2011 here...).

Otherwise I really like my new pc. 🙂

Might want to reset SMC and PRAM.

Power issues can sometimes be SMC related n
