Is it official?

Not "Officially" official, but the Apple Store employees are doing an overnight shift on the 13th to prepare the stores for a new product launch, which everyone expects to be Lion, and it was rumored at least a week earlier from a supposedly good source to be the 14th, so 2+2 equals the 14th :D

Ahh. I was not aware. Oh boy I can't wait!
Are New MBAs, Mac Minis, or Mac Pros expected as well?

9 to 5 Mac's rumor says new MBA's are possible, and the others should follow in the next month or so. I've read that current Mini supply is drying up, which is usually a sign a replacement is due any day. Now that Thunderbolt is out and the other Macs are updating to Sandy Bridge I think new Macs for every model will be out shortly.

Here is the link to the last story about the 14th/Lion/MBA I read.

The 14th estimate seems a pretty solid educated guess for Lion release, however new hardware dates could be anyone's guess. While I (like many others) are sure it's imminent, all guesses for those dates don't have an awful lot backing them up.

I would assume an official announcement today or tomorrow if they are releasing it this week.

this is the correct answer yes it does have a release date but only Apple knows what it is , I think that answers the OP question in full

we will get it when we get it not before ,but then and after then :D

Lion will be released on Wednesday, July 13. The new Macbook Air will be released the next day, on Thursday, July 14.

One more thing that makes me think the lion is coming this week. iPhoto just got an update, that made the side menu look very "Lionish". They sure are gearing up for it.

And if you're using Lion, iPhoto uses the Lion scrollbar now.

Tomorrow, iTunes and iWork updates?

I would like to see a new iWorks! I mean the current version is from 2009. Two years old.

Don't get your hopes up. I meant a small point release update to '09, which was demoed along with Lion at WWDC. I think the iWork team has been working on the iOS versions.

I don't have iWorks and have been using a combo of Bean and OpenOffice for stuff. I really want to go ahead and get iWorks, but I did not want to buy iWorks from the app store now just to have a new version come out in a week.

Why would Apple Store employees be pulling an overnighter for a digital release? There may be more people in the store and stuff to download it (maybe) but there won't be a new product in the store if it's just for Lion.

I can see how this implies that the new MBA will be released, but I don't see the connection to Lion.

why they are having an overnighter? to put all the Lion Ads and what not in the store, whats not making sense to you? makes perfect sense, they will also release some new device for sure, probably the Air.
