Does Lion work with Parallels 6? I cannot find an answer. Also, if not, is VMware supported? I would appreciate any help.

Can confirm that Parallels (v6.0.12090.660720) works with Lion (DP4, 11A494a) when using the launch patch.

    Get the launch patch here.

Don't have Parallels and Lion with me at the moment, but I have confirmed that the latest update of Parallels (which came out in the past month or so) works fine with DP4. I wouldn't try a third party patch.

Currently it complains about the hypervisor being disabled and not supported, fortunately there is a patch for that behavior which will make parallels run flawlessly:

    Code:
    sudo kextutil "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/Kexts/10.6/prl_hypervisor.kext"
    sudo kextutil "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/Kexts/10.6/prl_hid_hook.kext"
    sudo kextutil "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/Kexts/10.6/prl_usb_connect.kext"
    sudo kextutil "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/Kexts/10.6/prl_netbridge.kext"
    sudo kextutil "/Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/Kexts/10.6/prl_vnic.kext"

    PD6 build 12094 supports Lion

If you have used Parallels in Spaces you could face the problem with "invisible" Virtual Machine window. It is addressed in http://kb.parallels.com/en/111682
