I've just ordered a MBP from MacMall after giving up on any sort of update coming anytime soon (it's the end of April and we've heard nothing). In case they do announce them within the next two weeks, can I get a refund from MacMall? I read their return policy (here) but it's not clear to me. I've read some things on the Internet about MacMall not allowing returns on Apple computers, but they're from a few years ago.

Anyone have any experience returning a Mac to MacMall? Thanks!

Unless you purchase in volume and become a customer MacMall doesn't want to tick off, they won't accept return of an Apple product.

Best of luck!

Seriously, I've dealt with them a few times in the past and it seemed to depend on who your Salesperson was.

I asked MacMall directly and the representative told me:

If item is already opened you will be charged 15% restocking fee, if unopened you will be refunded the full amount. You will pay for the return shipping opened or unopened.

Let's just hope that if they do announce one, it's before I open it. :p

And yes, I'm getting buyer's remorse. :(

I do know if it's defective, you'll get a full refund and they'll provide you a shipping label. Dealt with a few dead pixels on one and the process was seamless.
