I am asking if somebody has used this C6PU (2687 v2 in mac pro 2013). Either you have or you haven't.
I can tell that I have used 2696 v2 in mac pro 2013 even though it is not a supported CPU. It is working perfectly fine for last one week. But it hasn't made my machine faster for my application (software development). I am providing this so that somebody else don't end up spending hundreds of dollars and then realize it didn't solve the problem.
