Does Migration Assistant Force Quit all other Apps without warning?

I was creating a bootable version of macOS Catalina using Mac Daddy's Install Disk Creator

Just as it was reaching the end (progress bar was like 98%), I started Migration Assistant which seemed to close everything.

Now I have a USB disk with CatalinaOS on it but not sure whether it could be a corrupted version?

Yes.
I believe Migration Assistant will quit all running apps.

Sounds like you may have to "start all over" fresh from the beginning.

I agree. I used MA several months ago and I think it does quit all apps. I think it gave a warning first though, IIRC.
