Hi.

Ive just received my MBP and swapped out the ODD for a HDD.. Installed already was a 128GB Apple SSD.

I completed the guide - http://chris.pirillo.com/how-to-move-the-home-folder-in-os-x-and-why/

When I was moving documents, music and pictures etc.. I was getting the spinning beach ball consistently.. Terribly slow when accessing both applications and documents on the 2nd drive.

When moving the Home folder - What does it move?

All I want to do is change the directory of my Documents, downloads, music, movies, pictures etc.

Any tips?

It wont move your Applications. It will move your Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Movies, Pictures.

When you restarted the Mac did you check it is definately using the new home folder? The new one should have the house icon, and the old one will now just have the generic blue folder icon.
