Does Music get auto added?

Does the music on iTunes get automatically updated when you start your iPad as new?

Since getting the first iPad to the new one, i've acquired a lot of music that I do not want on my iPad. I'm hoping that just the apps and the books get added and nothing else.

Not unless you tell it to. make sure the sync music checkbox is unchecked in iTunes
