So I've been reading all these threads about people having uneven coloring on their screens and it's made me pretty paranoid. There have been times where I've felt I had a perfect screen, and other times where it just seemed a bit off. Well tonight I believe I've found proof that there are definitely areas of my screen that are the wrong color.

If you look at the attached photo, you'll notice that the gray behind the higher settings options (Picture Frame, General, etc) is much lighter than the gray behind things such as Video, Photos, Notes, etc). The photo might exaggerate it a bit as it's tough to get a perfect picture, but I think it's very noticeable and it bothers me on screens where its obvious. Does this warrant a replacement? I've had it since launch day.

Relax, and stop worrying. The Settings app (and others) uses a gradient background that gets progressively darker from top to bottom. You're seeing it as it is designed. There's nothing wrong with your iPad.

Turn the screen upside down, and note that the colour still goes from light to dark from top to bottom. :)
