Does OS2 change notifications?

Does it make the haptic touch more pronounced? Can not feel it when up and about.

Can we change the ding that I can only hear when in a more quiet enviroment.

Did it address these?

You can't feel haptic through a video. Real world experience is the only answer here.

I'd also like to hear from people who installed the beta. Not only if strength adjustments have changed, but also if the haptic notification pattern can be altered for each notification type?

Umm, no, it didn't. OS/2 was the predecessor to Windows NT (many of the binaries in NT still had OS2 names)
<- Worked at both IBM and Microsoft and supported Windows NT

Actually, now that I've jogged my memory. MS was still pimping OS/2 1.x with LANMAN (their network operating system that preceded NT).
