Does Osx 10.5 Leopard need an Intel Processor ???

I have read the min spec on apples site and just thought i would ask in here from people that have actually done it. Does it need an intel Processor ?

I am currently running a
Powerbook G4 PowerPC
1ghz with 768mb Ram
250gb Hd
on Osx 10.3.9 (Panther).

Only Im finding im getting blown out a bit nowdays being on Panther and didnt think it was worth upgrading to Tiger.

Anyone Got any advise please ?

It will work with that, however, you should consider adding more RAM.

QS w/1.6ghz G4 upgrade
1.5GB Ram
Radeon 9800Pro 128mb
2x Raptors + SIIG SATA controller card
USB 2 card
22" widescreen display
wireless rodents & mucho access. of various types etc etc etc........

Yeah I guess I should.
I read somewhere that I may need a certain graphics card aswell or something ?
My current one is Ge Force Fx Go500 32mb.
