Does Pages save secure password protected files?

In dreaded Microsoft word I use "Save As", then click "Options" and there is the option to save my file with a password so that my kids can't get in and muck up my business writing.

I can't see "Options" under "Save as" but I'm just trialling iWorks (full iWorks disc arrives next week).

Here are ways to manage password protection in a Pages document:
To add a password to your document, select “Require password to open” in the Document Inspector.


Document inspector’s Document pane. Enter your password information in the fields provided and click Set Password. (To open Inspector use Option+Command+I )

Sorry, is this in 08 or 09? I have 08 and can't seem to find it.

It's great news though... I'll get iWorks09 if it just turned up in that. 🙂

I don't know about '08, but it's definitely in '09.
