Does Phone GV Extension support 2-step passwd for direct dial?

Previously, Phone GV Extension didn't work when using google's 2-step password if using the direct dial option. The work-around was to use the call-back option.

Has that been fixed? My trial is up and don't want to purchase it unless this feature works.
