Does Photostream only work on the "main" iCloud account?

I'm still confused about how to share certain items between my wife's iPhone and mine...

Do I need to use the same "main" iCloud account on both phones to share a Photostream?

Is the "main" iCloud account the one entered during setup and displayed in Settings --> iCloud?

Can we both separately use iMessage and FaceTime then? (and Find My Friends?)

Yes, iMessage and Facetime have their own logins in settings.

Do they? I'm stuck with my wife's contact photo in iMessage even though I am using my own separate iMessage account........

Not sure why that is happening. If you go into:

Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> scroll down to the Contacts section.....what user is listed for My Info?

Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

All I know is.....in iOS5, you can have a login for:

    Store
    iMessage
    Facetime
    iCloud
    Game Center

So in theory, you should be able to have a different login for each if you want.
