Isn't the note 3 way bigger?

Since Apple still has the top and bottom bezels on the iPhone, it's actually not too far off in size from a Note. If you are familiar with android I would say that the iPhone 6 is similar in size to a Galaxy S5 and you know how close the S5 and the Note are.

Reaching the top on the 6 is doable but you have to stretch your thumb more and that makes it uncomfortable if you hold your phone at the bottom.

Go ahead and get the 5s as there is not much difference compared to 6 apart from size. You don't even need reachability on the 5s.

Do a search for benchmarks or comparison for the 5s & 6. It's not a huge jump in speed compared to 5>5s.

It's bigger than the 6, smaller (slightly) than the 6 Plus. That being said, if you're not comfortable with it - it might just not be for you. I know I was far happier going back to an iPhone 5 - and with what I know now, not sure I'd want a 6 (definitely not a 6 plus).
