Since you are able to choose default apps on OS X/macOS, if I ask Siri to send an email or create a calendar event will she do it in the third party app that I have set as my default? If I ask a question that would lead to opening Safari on iOS, would she run that search in Chrome or Firefox on macOS?

Thanks to anyone who knows the answer!

I think it does, although, I don't any apps that support it. Check out the screen shot.

I though this was a little cool, I asked Siri for my current location.... It was very accurate, though it took it awhile to figure it out. (Maybe from a slow public wifi that I am using?) As far as I know, the early 2011 MBP does not have a GPS chip in it.

I also would like to know this.

It may be that developers would have access to the Siri API to enable this?

The evolution of SIRI on all Apple devices intrigues me.
