Can you change skins for Snow Leopard?
Im so tired of how everything looks. I wish it was all shiny and black, or white.

I found this great site with a billion skins, but the last update was from 2008. So, can you change skins for Snow Leopard?

If you mean theming,
Short answer no with a qualified but
Long answer yes with a qualified maybe.

Apple does not build in mechanisms to allow theming, like windows does. That hasn't stopped some people from theming, but generally speaking it can cause problems and every update can and generally breaks some of the themes.

So is there a way to theme the current version of Snow Leopard? Has someone pulled it off?

Because I found nothing by googling.

Check out themepark.

There's really not too much stuff going on with theming with OSX. Apple has effectively shut the door on this, there are some themes floating around and a small (read tiny) group of artists who continue to tweak/develop these but in general terms there's nearly nothing going on.

Also check out the forums over at macthemes
They probably can point you in a direction you need.
