Do you think Steve loves Apple or is it all out of spite? I mean let's face it, beloved rock groups break up, things change. He was fired from his own company only for it to flounder until they came begging for him back.

I think this would leave a very bitter taste/ memory about the company. He came back and has brought about some big time devices over the past decade... do you think his success was fueled by his anger over the past and do you really think he views apple as the company he started with woz and have that passion for apple?

Why would he still be there if he didn't care about the company? He's one of the wealthiest men on the planet, and has made that company a lot of money! If he wanted he could easily retire or pursue another venture that he cares more about.

p.s. Sigmar988 = new waloshin?

Yeah...he could easily do something he likes better.

Yes, he most likely had negative feelings towards Apple when he wasn't part of it (NeXT Era). But once he came back, he realized that Apple was his child, and he had to love it in order for it to prosper.

Out of spite of course. To prove to the people that fired him for his own company wrong

They weren't wrong. If Jobs was not forced out, he may have never grown up as a businessman and Apple would have died under Amelio or his successor.

You're right. The best way to prove someone you hate wrong, is to spend 14 years of your life making them billions of dollars.

*facepalm*

He is bitter and twisted and is just out top take over the world.

He has almost taken over music, now is endeavouring to take over the published word.

He won't stop until there is a :apple: locked down device in the palm of every infant in the world.
;)

If I had to guess he probably cares more about Apple than anyone else at that company.

Just because he got fired from his own company doesn't change the fact that it is his company.
