Carrier Does T-Mobile's unlimited music streaming apply to tablets?

I was wondering this myself as I am using a first-gen Mini in my car for music and GPS use. According to @T-MobileHelp on twitter, as long as you have a paid data plan you have access to the feature.
Definitely works with the Simple Choice tablet plans. My iPad Air is on the $20 3GB SC plan and have been streaming Spotify quite a bit today with no usage coming out of my high speed data "bucket".
so the free 200MB/mo doesn't count as paid since you're paying $0 for it, right?
what about if you pay $10/mo for the 1GB+200MB plan and it's included free until 2015 b/c of that promo? does that qualify?

the $30 unlimited plan isn't unlimited, it's 5GB at LTE speeds and then you get throttled to 2G which is basically good for absolutely nothing
Uncarrier 6.0 is saying that you get to stream from those select music apps at LTE speeds, unlimited GBs, free with any qualifying plan
I was told this as well. I was also told the 32Gb rMini is $22 / month for 24 months with zero down. Then 1.5 GB data is basically free. 1Gb for $10 is a wash, and the free 500 Mb from TMO iPad purchase.
Normally the 1gb plan is $20. If you have a voice line there is a discount of $10. T-Mobile is running a promotion of an additional $10 discount right now thru end of the year. Get 200mb on top of that. So you get 1.2gb for free.
i was told only the 16GB iPad was $0 down...
32GB model was $99 down
64GB model was $199 down (what i got)
Yes, you are correct. I didn't believe that either and called back. They said the CS rep was wrong. Had no idea where $22 / month came from either.
So the figures above are right on the money. Still a good deal. I'm toying whether to wait for new one or not.
EDIT: I was also told that if you get the free 1 Gb by having a voice line, it is 1 Gb total. It isn't 1 GB + the 200 Mb.
that is incorrect. it is 1GB + 200MB for a total of 1.2GB . below is copy/paste of the terms stated on their website:
" If you have a monthly plan (req’d for device financing), 200 MB is added to allotment. "
I'm not surprised and wouldn't bet one way or the other. You can't get the same answer from two different reps.
You do get the 200mb free no matter what plan you choose. so it would be 1.2gb. I have the 1gb plan and still get the 200mb.
I should say you are supposed to get the 200mb free no matter what but it doesn't always work for some reason.

i financed my iPad Mini 64GB model for $199 down, $18/mo for 24 months. reps didn't require that i get a 1GB data plan so i just have the 200MB plan. everything activated fine then in the last step it said to call customer service. the rep called customer service, spoke with some woman who said the 200MB plan wasn't activating on the device. the customer service agent forced the 1GB plan onto my account for $0.00/mo until 2015, despite not having a voice plan. the in-store rep said that it's likely that after the first billing month that it will revert back to $10/mo so he said just come in and they will credit back the $10. if it happens again the following month, he said just call in and do it each month and they'll manually credit it back until Jan 2015 b/c they want to honor was the customer service agent told me.
how is that for some good customer service? lol.
i likely will be switching from verizon in a month or so. coverage isn't an issue for me anymore since i'm not flying 50,000 EQMs / yr now to suppliers in bumbleville towns. my flying days are over and now i'm strictly regional in the Pennsylvania area. t-mobile's LTE expansion plans have been very aggressive in the last few months, with many areas that i only had 2G back in January now are full bars LTE. switching will save my family $60/mo+ taxes saved on that amount and now everyone will have a data plan. the switch will allow us to replace one of our beater cars with a new small SUV from a monthly payment standpoint

do you have info on expansion plans in specific areas if i give you a couple of town names?
Most likely not because they only update us on our markets. I live in one of the states that are going to get 700 spectrum. As for that, our engineers are notorious for under promising and over delivering.
