I just confirmed with customer service that even though my main line does not qualify (I'm on a grandfathered family plan), my ipad on the free 1gb does qualify for the music unlimited plan. I was excited until I learned that the amazon prime music service isn't on there yet...

Is iTunes Radio on it ?

come on now Why would you even think it would work on this plan?

Hey now, I remember when I first heard about this plan, I thought it was a scam or joke. I just couldn't fathom why a company would offer free data. So it's not too far to hope that one could stream music without eating into their data.

I'm frankly shocked that my free plan is covered. Happy, but shocked.

I kind of want to try my free 200mb sim now just to check, I would be shocked as well.

Edit: Can someone else try this? Just tried and it looked to be using data.

So i wonder if it will work with t-mobiles free 200mb for life on LTE tablets????

no, they pretty much are using that as a way to get people to try T-mobile risk free. If a customer gets decent reception they may decide to switch so it's a pretty smart and cheap way to advertise their products.

BTW - what type of doxie do you have? I've got 3 who pretty much rule the house.
