Does the 16' MacBook Feel faster?

I don't care about bench marks, but who here can verify if the 2016 v2 actually feels significantly faster with general use? I have the base v1 and am still in the return window (open box Best Buy)

Return it ASAP and switch it for the m7 MacBook. The m7 is 40% faster than what you have now, and about the same performance as the i5 MacBook Pro.

per my thread, do you have one and can you verify it feels faster? even the base version Im interested in

Take your 2015 model with you to BB and compare it to the new one.
 
Sure would be nice if someone could answer the thread starters question. I guess people are still feeling out their purchase.

I had a 2015 512 1.2Ghz and now have a 2016 512 1.2Ghz M5.
I can't say it feels significantly faster, but it's definitely a snappier machine.....comparing the two I can honestly say I'm very happy I returned my 2015 and ordered a 2016.
Battery life increase is worth it all by itself....
