Does the 8GB iPhone have enough storage?

Well 8GB is plenty of storage if you want to store less than 8GB, if you're gonna want to store more than 8GB I'd consider the 16GB which will hold 16GB, or twice as much. From a storage capacity POV the 16GB is probably better, but sadly not a real product, which makes it less good than the 8GB real product. Swings and roundabouts.

This post was written as a joke right?

Noooo... really??

if you're gonna want to store more than 8GB I'd consider the 16GB which will hold 16GB

What a smart guy you are

, or twice as much.

You get an A* in Maths

From a storage capacity POV the 16GB is probably better,

From a storage pov 16 is 'probably' better than 8? My god, my brain hurts.

but sadly not a real product,

Damn, it's not a real product.

which makes it less good than the 8GB real product.

less good than a real product eh? Interesting.

Swings and roundabouts.

Do you even know what this expression means?

Again, thanks to everyone for their input. Much appreciated! Since I gave my 10GB iPod to my brother, I am really looking for an iPod replacement. This is where a 16GB iPhone would be helpful. My 10GB iPod was nearly full. If a 16GB iPhone is not announced, I will definitely go with the 8GB and be more selective with what I put on it. Happy New Year! Linda

Yes, for me at least.

I have several big email accounts and some songs I want on the iPhone and it works perfectly for me

was confused when I see iphone 8g, wonder which version is it? Now I can see it is 4 years old thread.

But I'd prefer an iphone 4 8gb over iphone 3gs 32gb any day.

I'm so glad this thread was brought back up. The first (obviously joking) response was hilarious and the guy dissecting that response cracked me up ever further.

8GB more than enough except you want to store a lot of videos, songs or pictures and never backup....
