Title.

Istocknow shows all colors in stock at my local store, but doesn’t state the RAM size. Meanwhile Apple Store app shows next week for all sizes.

But if it’s anything like the Apple Watch S4 and iPhone XS launch, they may have separate stock for walk-ins, which don’t show up on the website.

Anyone know?

US stores hardly ever have 13" models with 16GB in stock..

There are 3 Apple stores close to me and none have 16GB 13" Air or Pro's in stock.. I also searched the LA area where there is like 15 stores in the general area and zero have 16GB Air in stock...

Not only is the 16GB/512GB available in stores, but it also listed as "in stock" online on the US store. Apple are getting a lot better at stocking higher-end configs these days!

Nothing available at any of my local stores for 16GB but it can be ordered under 'fastest' delivery for tomorrow... 16 / 256 is 2 weeks out but the 16 / 512 can be ordered for delivery tomorrow..

Good to know. Thank you!

Order one yesterday. Shipped overnight for $8. Here today. No need for stores to stock.

Everything with 16GB is showing the same for me.... No matter what color or SSD size.. Just checked again after reading your post..

Just put one in cart and next day is there. It must be your location.

I dropped into my local Apple store today to take a look at the new Air's. (not hugely impressed considering the nTB MBP was right beside it, but for another topic...) I asked the Apple rep if they had any 16GB model's stock, *anywhere in the Toronto Area. I think we have 6 stores in the Toronto area, but all of them showed no stock of 16GB models. Now the funny thing is that on the Apple.ca site, if you choose the 16GB/512GB model, it's available for pickup today at any of the stores... so who's right. I am going to say they do, because I've been in the store before and asked for a specific model of something, say a Macbook Pro space grey 128gb/8gb, and the rep will say they are out of stock. But then they'll click on another SKU, same space grey, 128gb/8gb it's fully in stock.

Apple seems to carry a few different SKU's for the same laptops, they usually end in AUS or US... etc. So if they say they don't carry it, or are out of stock, try to see what they are checking on their ipad's because different SKU numbers of the exact same product will be in stock. I'm not sure what the AUS/US means on the SKU but maybe someone else can chime in. When I originally purchased my Space Grey Macbook base model for example, I was told they were sold out across the GTA. But looking at his screen, I saw a SG base model in stock, but with the AUS on the SKU, and so when I asked about that "Oh... ok yes I guess we do have stock"... I almost want to ask if I can check stock myself lol. I've run into this a few times now, and so I'm really beginning to think the store reps have no idea they carry multiple SKU's for the same item.

I have a 2015 MB. Out of warranty with a number of first model issues looming. Apple offered me 1/3 what I paid. So, traded it and got the Air. Step up from the MB and fits my use case just fine. So impressive from that perspective.
[doublepost=1541718520][/doublepost]BTW Best Buy seems to have 256GB models ready to ship.

They do, but they don’t have the 16GB RAM models.

Nope not for me. My order says November 20th for store pickup.

It was strange. I went in to exchange my 8 / 256 for another but they were out of stock. He said they got a few in and needed to go back and check. Came back out and said all they had in Silver was the 16 / 512 so I purchased it..

So yes, it does look like Apple Stores are getting these higher models in store...
