Does the Dell Display Manager work on any M1 Mac?
With my Mac Mini M1 (Big Sur, 11.6) the Dell Display Manager does not work (Dell Display U3219Q, USB-C to USB-C). ON my old MacBook (Intel, 11.6) it works.

I have it working here with a dell d6000 dock and two displays. I thought it was a download from Synaptics DisplayLink mgr.

version 1.50.0.041, A00 of the DDM (released just last week) claims support up to 12.x

I'm tempted to try this with my M1 MacMini and two Dell Monitors. I checked and the monitors will work. I'm just not sure about why I might need it. Would it improve the quality of what is displayed resolution wise?

Also I'm worried about messing up the install, not to mention if updates don't keep up with Apple OS.

Anyone have a bad experience with this, or fabulous outcomes ?

DDM works on my M1 Mac Mini. I quit it every time I boot because it doesn't seem possible to deactivate some key combos that interfere with some application's key combos (namely, ctrl-cmd-left and right), but otherwise it does what it needs to do. Worked in Big Sur, works in Monterey.

Installed latest DDM version, still no connection. System settings the display is active, but DDM says "no monitor" detected

Dell UP2720Q (Thunderbolt 3). DDM is working on Intel MacBook Pro but NOT on the new Macbook Pro (M1 Pro). The lastest firmware, OS and DDM versions installed.
