Does the DroboS (Firewire) work on Sierra ?

Does the DroboS (Firewire) work on Sierra as a Time Machine backup solution.

I have heard of many people having Time Machine backup issues.... I'm worried by DroboS will not work, and this would be a major issues to consider before upgrading.

Any comments most welcome.
