iPhone X Does the info on either side of the notch ever change?

Does anyone know of any situations or apps currently out there that gets rid of the reception icons, time, and battery icons on either side of the notch to display information customized for the app?

The reason I ask this is because I am designing an app and don't have an iPhone X.

I mean games like Fortnite and PUBG and when watching movies the time, signal bars, battery sign disappear. Is this what you mean?

Yes some apps will display info in the notch areas.

Apollo, for instance, will use the left side as the volume indicator.

Those abilities should be in Apples interface guide and you can use the iPhone X simulator.

There's also a camera App (forget its name) that has its own icons on either side of the notch.
