I’d say all devices with an A9 system on a chip work with ARKit apps and augmented reality.

That means every iPhone 6S/SE and newer, every iPad 5th gen (2017) and newer, and all iPad Pro devices support AR.

iPad 6th gen carries an A10 Fusion SoC, therefore it supports AR apps.
