Looks like it's fixed focus and auto-brightness when you tap the screen (front-facing camera)

That's pretty disappointing. It would have cost Apple next to nothing to upgrade the FFC!

Yes, iPhone 14 and newer.

For the rear camera, iPad still uses the rear sensor from XS/XR, as evidenced by lack of Night Mode.
