It is amazing to me that this thread has gone this long, do people not realize this was marketing on Apple's part, I agree very poor marketing but marketing nevertheless.
Just like they did with iPad3 because 3 & 4 were so similar minus the connector and a few internal upgrades that it would cannibalize the sales of the 4 to keep the 3, in this case the the i5 and i5c would be pretty much the same.
Although if Apple really wanted to milk the cow the should have done a 8gb iPhone 5 free, and keep 5c at 49, 99 and so on. I think after really studying the keynote today they missed a lot and on purpose for the iPhone 6.
All I can hope is they do not wait a whole year to update again and they do it in six months or 9 months.
It would be nice to have everything on lightening and even than the USB cables are not 3.0. they always want you to chase something.
I have all iPhone 5's on the house 8 to be exact and I am WANTING to get the 5s, no need but a great want lol
