Title.

It would be interesting to know, since the A9 should also be the basis for iPad Pro's SOC, where USB 3.0 or later would be very important.

Thank you.

LOL, USB 3.0 is going the way of the dinosaur. It's all about the USB-C now, baby. Even the Android phones will transition to USB-C in 2016.

The 6P has a USB-C port but it's still USB 2.0.

Interesting. Seems like a dumb-a** decision, but whatever... :)

But in my defense, the post I quoted said that USB-C was coming in 2016, not USB 3.0. In fact, he said that USB 3.0 was "dead". And all I said was that the 6P was "getting it in 2015" (meaning USB-C). Seems like the USB landscape is getting muddied...

The storagr can literally read at over 1800MB/sec on the 6S/plus and write close to that.

Yeah I'd like to know the source of this info as well. I'd be surprised if it was 1/3 what you say it is. I'd say you're off by an order of magnitude.

USB C is the interface used. That's like saying USB 2.0 is stupid, MicroUSB is where it's at

USB C can use either USB 2.0, 3.0, or 3.1.

The Nexus 6P should have it in 2015...

It has Type-C but only USB 2.0, but has fast charging at 5V @ 3A.

USB-C is USB 2.0 or 3.0 under the hood. Its just the connector, not the protocol.
