Does the iPhone 8 camera still suffer the exposure problem that the 7 has when recording?

I have seen video of it.. basically, it is when the camera, during filming, switches from the wide angle (f1.8 lens) to the zoom (f2.2 lens).

Well I can see how that could not be done seamlessly. I do very few videos so I have not witnessed this.
There would always have to be some transition when going from one lens to another.

IMO, the video from the 6S+ up has been very, very good.

Like when focusing it changes the exposure
It happens with the regular 4.7

What is a 4.7?

Like I said I do very little video but the video I did do I never saw this darkening from focusing.
