Does the Lightning to 30 pin adapter with a case on?

I've read some reviews that say that the new Lightning to 30 pin (The $29. one) adapter won't fit into the phone if it has a case on. Although my iphone5 case is pretty slim I don't want to take it off every time I want to use the adapter. Has anyone had problems with it?

It depends what case you have. It looks like any case with a smaller "oval" cutout will not support the adapter. Looks like you'll need a case with minimal bottom protection or a case that has a open type design (ie. no separation of speakers and port).

For what it's worth, it does work with the Belkin View case.

Maybe spring for the cable version if you're concerned with case compatibility?

I've got a "slim" Kay Technology rubber case and the adapter fits perfectly with the case on.
