Yes, as with any Mac. There is some manufacturer's ID information, such as the model number, and serial number.
Also, a few icons and markings, that may be required by government. No actual name, however.
(I call my MBAir "Fritzi", but I have not chosen to engrave that name on the bottom. :D)

The name, such as MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro, used to appear at the bottom edge of the screen, but Apple stopped doing that about 3 years ago. Now there is no identifying name below the screen, just the required marking on the laptop bottom case.
I bet your MacBook Pro is older than 2022. Newer models don't show the model name at the bottom of the display.
 
No actual name, however.
The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro have the name engraved on the bottom of the base.

Ah, OK. I think that demonstrates that I do not currently have an M-series laptop, and realize that I was posting from ignorance...;). I choose to leave my post above uncorrected, as I think some might want to know where the error came from... all fingers point at me (sigh... Maybe I will remember to think first, before posting :cool: )
