Does the MacBook Air m4 support 8k/4k240 ?

That's the big thing for me on the m4 , and I was half expecting it to come on the MacBook Air

However from what I understand , the m4 mba is still limited to 6k

Is that right ?

I would like to know that too.

M4 base option chip sure does support 8k 60, m4 mini can do it from hdmi output.
So maybe thunderbolt to hdmi 2.1 adapter should work?
