Does the MacBook charger also work with the new MBP?

I'm currently using a MacBook charger with a USB C cable to Lighting cable to charge my iPad Pro.

Is this also the same charger used with the new Macbook Pro?

It will charge but it's not the same.

The 15" has a 87W adapter, 13" is 61W, and 12" is 29W

Yes it works but it charges alot slower compared to stock powerbrick that comes with the 13/15 inch 2016 MBP. I use my extra 29w usb-c bricks to plug in my laptop while I airplay movies or stream music, but If i need to charge it because the battery is low I use the 61W brick that came with my 13 inch.
