Does the MBP get "squeky"?

While we're waiting to order...

I'm at an Acer 6492 right now. It's in the relatively high end of their line up. Though Acer isn't really high end IMHO.

The hardware is ok. But the cabinet is really squeky, it's not rigid and making squeky noises.

Does thet issue occur on the MBP?

I've had a Lenovo R series which suffered from the same though not as much as the Acer.

I have a 3 year old MBP, it's still just as silent as day 1, no squeeks, creaks or odd noises at all.

The previous gen Macbook pros before the unibody did have squeaky space bar issues, as well as a little "creakyness" in the case. Due to the current unibody design, I doubt you will ever see this issue, it is very sold and will stay solid for years to come due to the design.
