16 Pro. I go to a lot of concerts, and I’m noticing this past few days my small clips sound slightly muffled compared to my 15 Pro.

I thought it might be due to using a case (which I usually never do), even though it is the Apple silicone case so shouldn’t be covering the mic at all, being so precise. But tonight I didn’t use the case at all and it still sounded a bit muffled.

I was starting to think it was just the speakers sounding slightly different, but when I go back and listen to videos from a few weeks ago recorded with the 15 Pro, they seem to sound much crisper.

So this leads me to believe it’s the actual microphone itself.

Has anyone else encountered this in other situations? Could it have anything to do with the new audio recording features? Is there perhaps a setting I’m missing somewhere?
