As you know, the previous TB3 controller supported only Displayport 1.2.
In accordance with anandtech.com only Displayport 1.3 / 1.4 can support the output of 10bpc in resolution 3840x2160 @ 60Hz to an external monitor:

Display Bandwidth Requirements (RGB / 4: 4: 4 Chroma)
Resolution Minimum DisplayPort Version
1920x1080 @ 60Hz, 8bpc SDR 1.1
3840x2160 @ 60Hz, 8bpc SDR 1.2
3840x2160 @ 60Hz, 10bpc HDR 1.3
5120x2880 @ 60Hz, 8bpc SDR 1.3
5120x2880 @ 60Hz, 10bpc HDR 1.4 w / DSC
7680x4320 @ 60Hz, 8bpc SDR 1.4 w / DSC
7680x4320 @ 60Hz, 10bpc HDR 1.4 w / DSC

The new Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 Controller support DisplayPort 1.4

As the the new 15-inch MacBook Pro 2018 has Thunderbolt 3 with the new Titan Ridge Controller will it support 10bpc on 4K HDR external monitor?

Where can it find TB3 —> DP1.4 adapter/cable to connect ?

I found only one cable on the Apple site this is Moshi USB-C to DisplayPort Cable
https://www.apple.com/shop/product/HLR62ZM/A/moshi-usb-c-to-displayport-cable
Will it work?

Why Apple do not any official clarification about this? Why do people who need it for their professional work have to spend а great time on finding out such things?

Has anyone already connected 4K HDR monitor with DisplayPort 1.4 to 15-inch MacBook Pro 2018?

Yes, Macbook pro 2018 do support 4K 60hz at 10 bit color. You can check from system reports->graphic.

I have DisplayPort to DisplayPort (from an RX Vega 64) running a 4k monitor at 60Hz. Don't know about 10bit colour. I didn't think these could output at 10bit, or maybe that was the laptop panel itself...

yes it definitely support 10bit output as long as your monitor supports it. The intel panel doesn't.

In System Profiler, under the GPU you will see the color depth RGB101010.

Nice. Maybe one day I'll crank it up to 4k rather than 1080.

It is at 4K. The GUI is set to ‘look like 1080’, but maybe you know that.

With the GUI scaled to native 4K the fonts are very small. Not good for your eyes and not necessary.

I personally like the option in between.

Mine shows 30-Bit Color (ARGB2101010) as well but my TV itself doesn't support 10bit. So this is weird.
