Apple announced some new iMacs today with some decent specs. Does anyone know if the high end 27-inch model have upgradeable ram slots?
At least there's one advantage to this not being a redesign.Yes it is!
I wouldn't want to. 32GB to start doing the upgrade myself to save money, maybe 64GB in 4-5 years. By the time I need anything over that I'll just be buying another Mac. I think this is a machine for Professionals of a certain level, not those who need to run a crapload of virtual machines or science experiements. Completely fine for most design, photography, video, and audio work. Can you put 256 GB of RAM into your puny "upgradable" iMacs?

nice to hear that. What 3rd party ram is recommended? I have not had to buy ram in years since I have been using an old computer. time to upgrade!
Please don't use the word "retarded."The MBP has 16GB. Apple is retarded.
The 15" MBP has been able to use up to 32GB since last year with the current 2018 models. The MBP has 16GB. Apple is retarded.
