One of the most frustrating things about the current M1 MacBook Air is the lack of dual monitor support. The only way around it is to buy an expensive dual display dock from HyperX or other companies, and it's a "hack" workaround that is half baked. First of all, the second monitor only runs at 30HZ, which I notice a lot when I move something like a powerpoint presentation from one screen to the other. Second, with these dual display docks or USB monitor adaptors, you are unable to unlock your computer using Touch ID or the watch because it thinks you are remotely sharing your screen. Lastly, I've had occasions where the second display just drops out and I have to unplug and replug the dock, or worse yet restart to get everything up again.

I'm hoping that the new M2 Air fully supports two displays, anyone found out yet?

No, unless you do the same work around by using a hub.
