    Hi!

Excited about the new mac mini.

Will it support dual monitors out of the box or does it require additional adapters?

I have a 1 year old macbook pro 15", would it be faster that this laptop since it is quad core?

As for whether it'd be faster, it depends on how your 1-year-old Mac is outfitted and how the Mac Mini is outfitted, and what you're going to be doing with it (e.g. just CPU speed, or is GPU involved)

You can actually have three monitors, depending on what they are (i.e. not all 4K monitors). But of course you might need some kind of dongle to connect them.

I’m not sure how much of a performance difference you would see versus such a new MBP unless you go for the highest-end config on the mini

You can have 3x 4k displays or 1x 5k and 1x 4k display running simultaneously.

The iGPU in this configuration will not be more powerful than the dGPU available in the Touch Bar MacBook Pro.
