I would think that the subtle orange peel like texture running across the surface of the zagg invisibleshield would affect pictures since the shield runs across the camera lens?

anybody have experience with this?

Doesn't sound right, when I used Zagg for my 3GS, there was a peel-out for the camera lens. It isn't supposed to cover it.

are there 3 hole cut outs in the front for the proximity sensor, camera and earpiece?

there isn't a cutout for the proximity sensor. it's just one long oval for the earpiece and the forward-facing camera. the proximity sensor doesn't need a cutout in this situation since the zagg shield is mostly transparent
