Does the Ti use thermal paste or a pad?

    I can't remember. I had my original apart years ago. My new one seems to lock up after a bit and the fan is running (my first concern). On the bright side the battery is great.

    Anyone know of a take apart tutorial for the Ti GigE?

    Take a look at ifixit.com. They have guides for every model.

    RS has Arctic Silver 5 on sale.

    Arctic Silver 5 or Ceramique 2 is what I recommend most.
