What I mean by that, is that I have gotten into running a few times over the years, and have found apps like, "Couch to 5K" etc etc very useful.

As a beginner when it comes to running, I like these training apps, that help you build your runs over time.

I find without them, I go for a run way to fast, and 10 minutes later i'm dying, and not at all enjoying it, so I tend not to go again.

Has Apple implemented anything like this into the watch? Some kind of coaching?

No, you still need to rely on 3rd party apps for suff like that. Haven't checked but I know some running apps have already integrated AW into their iPhone apps. Maybe Couch to 5K or similar has also integrated already?
