I use reminders extensively. I find it so frustrating that on smaller screens (like this 13" M2 Air), these reminders cover up parts of the screen, making things like accessing tabs on a browser impossible, without moving the browser window. If I "x" out of the reminder, then the notification goes away on the Mac AND my iPhone, but that's not what I want as I'll start to lose track.

Ideally you would be able to make these notifications show up and stay beneath windows such that they're always there, but not in your way. Is something like that possible? Or any other suggestions? This is not an issue on my 30" ACD obviously, as I can just move the windows out from under the notification.

I have the exact same thing with scheduled todo notifications covering up browser tabs, but to be honest I don't feel it is wrong because it's kinda the point of notifications to be a certain level of annoying so that they get dealt with.

Maybe in the Notifications settings on your Mac only, you could configure these to be "Banners" instead of "Alerts" so that they automatically slide right into the Notifcation Centre after a few seconds.

I'm with you on that.

Amazingly, I just found out that you can two finger swipe the notifications away on Mac and they will go into the notification center, but it doesn't actually dismiss them. They remain on your phone and in the Mac notification center. When your Mac sleeps, is locked, whatever, they will pop back out. This solves it for me!
