Not at all. I find things like this to be nothing more than grayscale poka-dots.

I agree with jessica. in regards to the carbon but the dark leather looks very nice. Just make sure they come off without residue.

Look for real-world pictures. These sample images always put the product in their best light when in reality it could look awful. Personally I'd just buy a nice sleeve with a neat pattern.
