does this mean SPORE won't work?

I've got teh first macbook with 2GB ram and 2GHZ processor. Spore runs fine, and I can see the creature in the coloring phase and during the game, but in the editor, this is what I get under the hammer icon. Any fix?

The macbook with GMA 950? GMA 950 isn't supported while running OS X.
