From the technical specifications on the monitor:

Do you see HDMI on that list? I don't, so I assume it doesn't have HDMI.

DVI is compatible with HDMI. You just need an adapter cable. The fact that it has HDCP means that you get full functionality and can play Blu-Rays and other copy-protected HD sources.

But, if you do go that route (DVI to HDMI), you'll need to get audio another way since DVI doesn't carry audio.

Well, according to the tech specs of that monitor, an additional audio source would be required anyway since this one doesn't have built in speakers.

You should be able to use a HDMI->DVI-D cable to connect the PS3, but bear in mind that the monitor doesn't have speakers built-in.

Also true. :) So basically the OP will need to run an optical cable to an audio receiver.

The OP could do that :) the PS3, fortunately, supports a wide range of options from routing audio from the system, assuming the OP kept his original A/V cables.

For example, I ran my PS3's sound via the A/V cables that came with the system to my soundsticks using a female stereo to female 3.5mm jack.

Man all this adapter stuff. I'll find another with HDMI port and an audio jack so I can use my computer speakers.
